Horizontal wells can be installed adjacent to, or below landfills, to sample methane CO, CO2, or H2S gas emissions. Our well can also sample a leachate and/or control movement of leachate into groundwater.

These techniques have been successfully used in both municipal and chemical waste landfills. Horizontal wells may be completed within the landfill waste for gas or leachate removal.
