Longbore, Inc. installed one blind well at an active rail yard under multiple rail tracks, including commuter “fast track” lines. The well was completed in a blind borehole using 4” I.D. steel, pipe based, wire wrapped screen with 7” I.D. steel riser casing. The subsurface at the location consisted of sand with minor amounts of clay. Well development was completed utilizing fresh water washing, chemical treatment and over-pumping. The well was installed with no impact to the rail yard operation.
